Akarawuth Tamrareang

In 2003, Akarawuth became fully involved in the open source movement as a developer. He initiated the Web site MamboHub.com as a community for Mambo enthusiasts. When the Joomla Project was created, he and LaiThai team were there to contribute and drive Joomla even further with funding for a new regional portal www.joomlacorner.com. Currently, Akarawuth and his team are the only group in Thailand working closely with the Joomla Project. They work with various Project teams including the Translation Working Group (Thai/Lao), the Joomla Bug Squad,the Joomla Events Team and Mentor for the Google Summer of Code program.

Alex Kempkens

Alex Kempkens ist Autor des Joomla! Entwicklerhandbuches und Mitglied des Joomla!/Mambo Kernteams seit 2004. Mit ihrem Büro für Kommunikation – Der Auftritt – konzipiert, gestaltet und realisiert die Webentwicklerin Angie Radtke seit 1999 zielgerichtete Kommunikationslösungen im Bereich Internet und Print. Sie ist spezialisiert auf marketingorientierte, barrierearme Internetpräsenzen, je nach Wunsch unter Verwendung des Open Source Content Management Systems Joomla!. Dass sich ein ansprechendes Design, Zugänglichkeit und der Einsatz eines CMS nicht ausschließen, ist wesentliche Grundlage ihrer Arbeit.

Brian Teeman

David Deutsch

For the past three years David Deutsch has been programming AEC - the most popular Paid Membership component for Joomla. Being self-employed working full time on the software he makes his living from memberships at valanx.org and by providing other valuable services around AEC. With an unusual pace of introducing new developments, he is frequently mistaken for a development /team/. Which is clearly not helped by him often referring to his activity in the majestic plural. He is also a Free Software purist and has recently started to become an expert in making ice-cream and sleeping properly. He frequently lies about his ability to sleep properly.

Fotis Evangelou

Fotis Evangelou is the founder and lead developer at JoomlaWorks, a company developing and supporting some of the most respected extensions in the Joomla! community, including the groundbreaking K2. He is also co-founder of Komrade, a web development agency based in Athens (Greece). Together with his talented team of designers and developers at Komrade, he is responsible for two of the largest Joomla! powered websites worldwide, the sports sites Gazzetta.gr and TNAWrestling.com.

Geraint Edwards

I am the lead developer on JEvents and the co-developer of Joom!Fish.  In addition to this open source development commitment I develop custom web applications for clients worldwide in Joomla! and the Zend Framework. I live in North Wales, UK.

Guido Schmidt

Guido Schmidt ist IT-Leiter und stellvertretender Amtsleiter des Haupt- und Personalamtes in der 16.000-Seelen-Gemeinde Brüggen am Niederrhein.
Seit mehreren Jahren engagiert er sich für den Einsatz von Open-Source-Produkten in der öffentlichen Verwaltung.

Johan Janssens

Web Application Architect, Director of Nooku and one of the Joomla! Founders. Johan has a wealth of experience working in open source communities. At Joomla! he was Project Manager for 2 years and held a position on the Board of Directors of Open Source Matters, Inc.
Johan is the principal architect of the Joomla! Framework and held the role of Lead Developer during the development of Joomla! 1.5. Today, Johan has made nearly 3,500 commits helping to create Joomla! v 1.5, a refactored MVC application architecture. He is hopeful and confident that with Joomla!'s strong and growing community, Joomla! will continue to help more and more people all over the world connect with others.

Radovan Kubani

Radovan Kubani ist Webdesigner und Flashentwickler. Er arbeitet außerdem mit Printmedien und ist freiberuflicher Dozent im Bereich Multimedia. Radovan Kubani hat Informationswissenschaft und Bildende Kunst – Ästhetische Erziehung studiert. Er war außerdem an verschiedenen Musikvideo-Produktionen und Online-Kursen – an der Uni Regensburg und Bamberg, sowie an der Virtuellen Hochschule Bayern (VHB) – beteiligt.

Er ist Mitautor des Buches Joomla! Handbuch für Einsteiger.

Robert Deutz

Robert Deutz, Jahrgang 1966, arbeitete nach Abschluss seines Studiums der Elektrotechnik bei mehreren Systemhäusern als Projektingenieur und gründete 2002 das Unternehmen Robert Deutz Business Solution. Seitdem beschäftigt er sich mit Lösungen für den Mittelstand und ist als Berater bei unterschiedlichen Unternehmen tätig.

Thomas Kahl, Geschäftsführer und Gesellschafter der B01 Consulting GmbH & Co. KG, arbeitet seit 2003 mit Mambo / Joomla und später Virtuemart. Neben seinen Beiträgen zur Community in Foren und der Veröffentlichung freier Extensions bietet er in seiner Firma erfolgreich Dienstleistungen und Programmierung rund um Joomla und Virtuemart an. Diese Dienste stehen auch international unter joomlaexpert.com und vm-expert.com zur Verfügung. Seit einiger Zeit ist Thomas Kahl Mitglied im Virtuemart-Team und ist dort mit der Entwicklung von Virtuemart 2.0 beschäftigt.

Wilco Jansen

Wilco was born in 1967 in the Netherlands where he still lives. After years of being a programmer Wilco has worked as project manager and IT manager. Discovered Joomla! when he was creating his own content management system, and never lost focus after then.

Joined core team as development coordinator in September 2006 just helping to make Joomla! even better then it is already.
